updating multi-line fields in a database

Can a multi-line field update properly to an MS Access memo field if browser input includes a carriage return? Currently everything after the carriage return is truncated.

It looks like it's truncated when you put the text back in a webpage again. But when you take a look at the source of your page in a browser you'll see that in fact the linebreak is still there. It only needs to be 'translated' into a <br> tag which is the only valif HTML for a line break.
Have a look at www.dreamweaverfever.com (the 'pain' section I think). There's some explanation on how to do this.
