Pure ASP works brilliantly except for one feature. The documentation states that PAU will create folders if they do not exist. I am creating product catalogues and placing images into different subfolders off the main images folder, one for each manufacturer. When I create a new manufacturer and stipulate the new target directory, PAU does not create a new folder on the server.
On my local IIS it just hangs.
On my ISP's server (NT) I get the following error

"Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a003a'
File already exists
/ciderwoods/ScriptLibrary/incPureUpload.asp, line 176 "

I have followed the advice in the PAU tutorials regarding security. Anyone got any ideas?

I have read bout norton anti virus giving problems with the file system object, when used in iis. there r a few options if this is the case...

1. disable your anti virus!!!
2. port the folder creation bit away from iis, meaing get it out of asp, into .dll etc.
3. might even be folder permisions, read/write etc.

good luck
