Hello i'm trying to build my first server behavior and i'm stuck.

We all know the dynamic dropdown tutorial at MM.com and i'm sick of constantly altering the code, so i've started to make it into a behavior.

My codeblock 1 has a red ! mark and so has codeblock 2.

Codeblock 1 is
www.macromedia.com/support/ultradev/ts/documents/client_dynamic_listbox.htm#jssource
with 8 parameters to replace the handcoding changes into nice selectors.

Codeblock 2 is
<select name="@@Child Relationship field name@@" onChange="MM_callJS('setDynaList(arrDL1)')">

That has to replace the <select> opening tag.

Are those "!" normal and do I just continue to add the selection thingies and finish the behavior or am i being too simplistic ?

Aargh, I spotted it... i need to split the code into multiple code tags, CRAP !

Dynamic Rewrite List_block1: The current code block is either a partial tag or multiple tags. The code block must be a single tag, comment, or script block.

Dynamic Rewrite List_block2: The current code block is either a partial tag or multiple tags. The code block must be a single tag, comment, or script block.

That is going to be ALOT of code splitting and i'll probably end up with 80 or so codeblocks, is there an easier way to do this ?

With kind regards,
