ok i'm new so bear with me please i need to have a page that has one plug-in module ie: quicktime i know how to do that but need to add several buttons that will call other media file and replace current one in the plugin.

You should check developer.apple.com/quicktime/ for a demo script. I haven't seen any extension doing this, but maybe it's on the Macromedia exchange.
