Absolute to Relative URL

How can i change a absoluteURL to Site Rootrelative ?

I'm looking for a function that opposite of <b>dreamweaver.relativeToAbsoluteURL() </b>

Have you tried to find the current folder where the file is in, then walk trhough it's parents till you've found the site root (and collect that path in a string) and at the and distract those paths (which is a sting) from the absolute URL?

Yes i thought about it but you know it's require really hard JS coding.

In fact i think i can't do that <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle> So i'm looking for ready function in DW but there is no function like that.
