trying to connect back to my ftp site, and all I get is "host found, connecting"then it errors out "an ftp error occurred-cannot make connection to host"
this could be any ftp site i try.
unfortunately, the site log doesn't show anything. and supposedly, you can use the site ftp log's command line but it doesn't do anything.
if I do it by DOS ftp it connects without any issues, haven't tried it with any other ftp program.
thanks for your help!

the oddest thing ...
i had to add the ftp port at the end of the ip/domain name.
ftp.domain.com:21
shouldn't by default know what it is???
maybe there's a configuration somewhere that needs to be tweaked?

Hi, only other thing besides the port number I can suggest trying is check "passive FTP" and see if that works.
