First, hello! I'm new here!

I'm new to webdev & I'm trying to set up an online store for my business. I have DWUD & I was considering using StoreFront 5 for making my shopping cart. My question is, how do I get my merchant account with PlugNPay to work with StoreFront? It's not listed on there supported merchant list & they said I'd have to get a 3rd party to get it to work. Keep in mind I'm pretty new & I'm teaching myself all this because I really can't afford to hire someone to design my site. The job market for new IT guys in Houston is rather slim & I'm trying to get my biz up & going on the net. Any help you could offer would be great & if you ever need any PC parts I'll hook you up at my cost plus shipping (& tax if you are in TX).

I just got StoreFront 5 Pro a while back and I'm finding a LOTTA "partnerships" that they have with 3rd party groups have been dissolved. The ezeeHelp system they have in Storefront which allows you to chat with visitors on your website live fell through, but they don't tell you that in the books.

I recommend you doing a search for a newsgroup on Storefront as that it is quite an indepth piece of software. I'm using it right now and am gettin down n dirty into the code itself. When I want to integrate it into the design of my website, I want it INTEGRATED!

Well maybe Store Front is too big a package for me. I'm not really aiming to do Web Design for a living, I just want to make my site so I can sell computers, & pc parts online. I'm wanting to use the PlugNPlay because I can get a merchant account from www.godaddy.com for about $20 a month including gateway access. I'm on a really tight budget & i'm also trying to come up with more money for classes & getting an online store going & generating money would be a big help since I can process orders when ever I have off time & when I get enough business I can end my contract work & focus more on studies. I really like DW allot, I just wish I could find a simple cheap way to put a cart on my site that will function with the merchant acct/gateway that I wish to use.

Thanks for your input by the way, Aegis
