i hate to make such a bold statement but i think a large majority of the not so guru classified actionscripters would agree here...

i hate to say i have visited various forums and wasted countless hours trying to make the calendar component function like an event calendar where days with events assigned to them can be shaded and by clicking those days.. populate a txt field with that days' data.

if anyone has any suggestions on creating the most simple calendar of events in flash.. please enlighten me.
i am officially frustrated.

i 'assumed' components would be like smart clips.. fairly easy to implement.
