i whant to add a download area on my page where people can download dwgs pics etc.. but how do i do this

Simply place the files that can be downloaded in a directory for example called "myDownloads".

Then its just a simple matter of linking to the files.

Pics shouldn't need any downloading, as all the visitor needs to do is right-click and choose "save as..."

If this isn't what you needed then please explain your question more carefully.
