Hey guys,
I am sitting here looking at the above options and really wondering where I should focus my time. It seems that developing with ASP based is simpler, but the cost of hosting (MS license) seems to limit the number of potential users. Therefore I consider PHP or JSP.

Anywho, just wanting ya'lls scoop on where you focus your time and what seems to be the best bet for the future.

All languages are useful. However, I myself have been looking for a job and so far, looking for web developer I have found:

8 outta 10 ask for ASP
3 outta 10 ask for JSP
2 outta 10 ask for PHP
0-1 outta 10 ask for ASP.NET (because it's so new more than likely)

No matter wich one you do first, ASP is a lot more common, however, if developing as a freelance or developing for diferent people you will need to learn at least ASp and PHP, so you can work in a global server basis.

Everybody should belive in something... I belive i'm having another beer
