hey im trying to insert into my data base but i'm getting the errror "Operation must use an updateable query"

ive changed the permissions on the database folder to read/write but i still get the error. theres not much more that i can really do in way of editing the server cause its a host so i am limited to my access to it . im starting to get really frustrated and i'm running out of idea;s any help would be great

This error usually happens when you try and insert data or update data in an Access database with which as you said you don't have enough permission.
You need to contact your host and find out whether you may need to use a certain folder for your DB, they may even require you to connect through a DSN.
99 out of 100 this is a server problem, so don't pull your hair out just yet, as it is easily fixable.
