Greetings agoes:

I would check a couple of things. Make sure you definitely have enough memory installed in your computer to run Dreamweaver and everything else you have to have running. The other thing to check is to make sure you have downloaded and installed the Dreamweaver 4.01 update. The update may fix the problem that may be causing the Dreamweaver freeze.

I agree, sounds like a RAM problem.

128MB of RAM may sound a lot, but it isn't.

I have 212MB of RAM (38MB is swallowed by my USB Modem as soon as i switch on, and then whatever else is running in the background, Firewalls, Anti Virus, System Tools etc.. all suck up even more RAM)

Good thing is, RAM is now very cheap to buy, and so easy to install. You can pick up a 512MB stick for around £30-40 in the UK, which is really good.

(I should take my own advice and buy some myself <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> )
