i am just getting into dreamweaver mx and totally new to ultradev and am looking at project tutorial based books to learn from.i dont want a book that says "this is how you save a file, this is how you draw a table etc..."
i am currently thinking about buying from these titles:-
1.joy of dreamweaver mx
2.dreamweaver mx bible
3.dynamic dreamweaver mx
4.step by step web database development
5.database driven websites
will probably buy at least two so any recommendations would be great.
cheers guys

I build my first one using Sams Teach Yourself Dreamweaver Ultradev 4 in 21 days. I had never even touched HTML before but managed to get a site I up and working. Also read Sams teach yourself HTML.
Good luck,,, it's worth the headhches.

I think you would be smart to stay the more tutorial driven books to start with until you get a feel for the basics. Books like "Dreamweaver MX Bible" are a great resource for when you are stuck or need more info, but are more tech encyclopedia than teaching manual.
I taught myself using books and forums, so you can do it. Rock on.
