I have been using DWMX since it was released. Something I noticed, by the time it becomes unusable it's memory size increases from about 39,000K to over 150,000K. I am running a Dual PIII/512Megs RAM and WinXP Pro.DWMX becomes so sluggish I have to shut it down and then reboot my machine. I have noticed that this only occurs when using a Database backend. (It doesn't matter how many files are in the folder, I created a test site with One page, connected to a one table DB still the same result.)
I have set my Undo level to 10...Any other suggestions?
Some of my ASP files increase the memory usage from like 16,000K to over 100,000K just by opening then, is this normal? (Each file contains about 800 lines of HTML/ASP)

I have a similar issue, but my machine simply Reboots after awhile. I'm running Win2k Pro SP3. It's always when I have IE5.5 running, but it doesn't seem to have a pattern at all - when it decides to, it just reboots the box. I'm running MySQL / MyODBC locally, by the way. All of my sites have databases on them, so I haven't tested it without one.

Strange I haven't had any problems with DWMX slowing over time, however it isn't exactly lighning fast, but I put that down to my ageing PC - I have W2K SP3, Dual PIII 500 and 512Mb RAM using ASP/VBScript.
One thing I have noticed is a problem with Library Items, I use these a lot, on UD4 updating all the relevant pages in a large site would take a minute or two, in DWMX it takes an eternity, sometimes 15 - 20 minutes. Basically I have to go and make a coffee and just wait. So far I haven't found an explanation of what change they have made to this feature that would cause the massive slow down.
