How imp it is to learn SQL Server for Database?

ASP dev is not any different in DW for SQL Server than Access. So, if you can do it with access, exact same deal.

Also, if was just starting I would forget programming in ASP and SQL Server and focus on PHP and MySQL, a much better - more flexible solution - that everyone seems to be going toward. With DWMX you can do it just as easily as ASP.

I you want to work with something that will be most used language in the future, start learning ASP.Net. It's true that PHP is, more or less, as powerfull as old ASP but ASP.Net brings a whole new world to programming.
