Can anyone help?I am using Dreamweaver 4 for Mac (OS 9.0). Every thing has been fine until a couple of days ago when I started to experience problems in connecting to the remote server I use.
Dreamweaver finds the remote host but fails to verify the connection and eventually shows the message , " The connection to the remote host has been lost. Click the connect button to reconnect" On clicking OK it continues to try and verify the connection but without success. Eventually I have to cancel and get another message saying, " Dreamweaver cannot establish the remote server time......"
The server administrator tells me there are no problems with the server and that it must be a software problem. I've re-installed Dreamweaver but the problem persists! Can anyone please help? My sanity depends on it!

I'd personally use an FTP client such as CuteFTP or WS-FTP Pro as the built in FTP in Dreamweaver 4 was quite crap from what i can remeber of it. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for that.
I've downloaded a Mac based FTP client from FETCH SOFTWARE and can now transfer files to the server.
