I have created an ASP page with RS, PD On-Line HTML Editor Object, and Record update SB. I have had this working in the past but now when I opening the page the editor opens, but I receive an error message that states: Error 'parent.document.all.answer.value' is null or not an object. ..../pd_edit.html.Also, the editor text block will not accept typing.


Any help will be appreciated.

Check and make sure that you have named your form "fHtmlEditor"... the HTML Editor needs the form to have this name in order to work.

I believe I have found my problem. I replaced my pd_edit.html file with a new copy and after that the HTML Editor seemed to be functioning properly. I believe my pd_edit.htmll file became corrupt when I tried making copies of my HTML Edit page.
