Need some help here. This might be rather long.
I greated a series of images using photoshop. One image is a solid red nav. bar that ends with a 45 deg. angle. I "saved to web" to turn it into a gif image. I imported the image (and others put through the same process) in Flash (mx) and created an animated nav. bar. I imported the nav. bar to Dreamweaver (mx) and tested the site. Everything looks great except for the 45 deg. angle on the nav. bar. The 45 deg. angle on the nav. bar appears jagged (bitmapped). I checked out the proerties in dreamweaver and set the quality to high. What else can I do?
Is the triple manipultion of an image too much and I'm losing data?
What's the standard process for this?
(some links to Good web design resources would be much appreciated).
Thanks!
ps - it's my first web site creation - be gentle.

U could always make all your graphics in Flash. That way they will be "vector" graphics and will be much better quality for the web.
And yes, the more you import, export will lose file data.
U got a link for the page?
