Just upgraded my system to Win XP Pro. What's the deal with IIS 5.1? I used Win ME and PWS before the upgrade and it worked fine, but now I just don''t seem to get it working. When I try to test my ASP pages with IIS I get the same error over and over. On the MM support pages they say it has something to do with permissions, but also following up their tips it still isn't working and driving me crazy. All you techies out there... Please help!Replies

I had this problem going from PWS to IIS 5 and it seemed to be a permissions issue.
If you are working on you own PC as a development machine then it's easiest to give "full control" permissions to the "wwwroot" and then these will be inherited to all web files. This seemed to work for me...

I had that problem yesterday too.
It has to do with the security permissions.
