I know how to make a table centered in a page. but how does one make that table centered VERTICALLY on a page...am I missing something?

I may be missunderstanding but I think you would do it the same way. create a 100% x 100% table and center your table in that. you can then left or right justify it if you dont want it horizontally centered.
