I'm new to Dreamweaver, so forgive me if this is an easy question. In Front Page, you had several components that you could enter - things to automatically update the date on a page, or to create a slideshow. Does Dreamweaver have anything like this? If so, how do I access it/use it. I'm starting simple - I just want an auto-date code, so that everytime I update my homepage, and save the changes, the "Last Edited Date" will update automatically. Thanks in advance for all your help. Replies

It doesn't have them in the way Front Page does, but it does come bundled with various plug-ins.
I.e; insert a Flash Movie, Insert Active X etc.. These can be found in the top "Insert" menu.
What makes Dreamweaver so much better than Front Page for non coders is it's huge database of extensions to help users such as yourself.
