Hello,

I created a site in UD4 and used the date format of MM-DD-YYYY. I started updating the site in MX and it does not offer this format. Is there a way to add this format to the list of Date/Time in the Binding - Format list?

yes, you can edit this file:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration\ServerFormats\servermodel\formats.xml

Dennis,

Thanks, i found the file, but am unsure how to change the below.

<format file="Date/Time" title="Date/Time - 17-01-2000" expression="<%\s*=.*DoDateTime\(.*, 2, 2070\)\s*[^%>]*%>" strNamedFormat="shortDate" nLCID="2070" id="DWMenu_ServerFormatDef_ASP_2_DT10"/>

Is this the only file that would change?

This file has changed in the UD4 directory as well. I am confused.

yes, that is the file.

ummm...

<format file="Date/Time" title="Date/Time - 01-17-2000" expression="<%\s*=.*DoDateTime\(.*, 2, 2070\)\s*[^%>]*%>" strNamedFormat="shortDate" nLCID="2070" id="DWMenu_ServerFormatDef_ASP_2_DT10"/>

but sadly i don't know the LCID of the format in question :-/
and i can't seem to find it, only google results complaining that it's hard to find a good list of those ID's. I will let you know if i find it.

Dennis,

Yeah, I looked all over as well. I decided to go through and change my format to DD-MM-YYYY . This is the only format I could match up with Yaromat Check Form.

I figured, spend the few hours to update my pages versus's spend hours on hours trying to figure out the new LCID.

Thanks for the fast response.

Randy,

You are right, it sometimes takes forever to find stuff and then a alternative might be better... But after you posted that you changed I still kept looking, also so I can bookmark or file a possible solution, and what do you know:

support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q229690

For future reference.
