Does anyone know how to make a Guest Book in Dreamweaver MX? It was the easiest thing in the world using FrontPage but seems to be impossible with Dreamweaver!

what kind of guestbook do you want to create? cgi? asp? php? There are a lot od opensource options out there for cgi guestbooks (www.hotscripts.com). A database-driven guestbook wouldn't be hard to make either.

As for Frontpage/Dw comparisons, i think most will agree with me on the fact that Frontpage is an entry-level development tool which does all sorts of things for you, it's virtually useless at anything beyond entry level development. Dreamweaver is designed for professional work in mind and whilst some things might take longer to do, the final outcome will be something more robust and professional.

It still is one of the easiest things to achieve:

This could use some updating for DWMX, but to be able to follow it in DWMX just replace all references to Data Bindings and Server behavior into application window and you should have your guestbook in no time at all.
