The message that Dreamweaver MX shows is:

Access denied for user: root@localhost (using password:YES)
1045 Access denied for user: root@localhost (using password:YES)

I have already read the message in:

www.interakt.ro/products/technicald.php?prodId=0&id_thn=8

and isn´t my problem.

I tested thousands of times and I can´t connect DMX with MySQL following the sequence presented in the tutorial that comes with the PHAkt.

I am using DMX with the Localhost with the following configurations:

LOCAL INFO:

Site Name: phakt
Local Root Folder: C:\Users\alberti\Dreamweaver\phaktHTTP Address: localhost/phakt/

REMOTE INFO:

Access: Local/Network
Remote Folder: C:\web\phakt\ (web is the WWW directory configured in PHP)

TESTING SERVER:

Server Model: PHPADODB
Access: Local/Network
Testing Server Folder: C:\web\phakt

If anyone could me help. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure that you have the administrative rights for the MY sql database?
Check the username and password for MYSQL for administrative password.

ONe thing one can see is it does see the database. IT seems to be a Permission/ right problem.

To solve the problem you have to post the details of your connection dialog.

Remember to write "localhost" as your host.
There is nothing much to do. Keep on trying.

My DMX is a trial one. I am testing if a solution with DMX, PHP and MySQL can be used in our WEB design . Is this a problem?

Check this article:

It seems you are having a problem with IUSR.
