Hi,I am currently working on a promotional CD and am using Dreamweaver to generate the script for it. Being a CD based thing, I am enjoying the flexibility of including large files without the download time. However, I am trying to make the look of pages seem more like a promo CD than a website and would like to include a scrollable text area within the main cell of the table that I have layed it out in. This is the first time that I have tried this, and I have seen it on other sites, so if anybody knows a good way to achieve this I would be extrememely grateful if they could let me know too.
Thanks
Mr Hands

Dear Mr Hands,
Depends on your potential audience specs - if they are all IE on a PC, you could use DHTML - if they all have the Macromedia Flash plugin, you could use SWF, if they have the Sun or Microsoft Java plugins enabled, you could use an applet, etc....
Regards,
Brent

Hi there,
Thanks for getting back.
The majority of the audience that it will be deployed to will be car mechanics. Flash is probably not on their computers yet.
I think that DHTML would be the best way, but how would I do it. Do you know?
