Well Hello, I am new to this forum.I need help if this is possible on Dreamweaver MX.
Okay, I have a site. The toolbar is on the left and the site background is an image.
The toolbar has links, and I layered them as sepearte images.
Does anyone know how to make them stay and follow in the toolbar space? Like when you maximize the links move and when you maximize your browser they are fine.
The site is www.modsynergy.com
Please Help
Thank You!

The URL you provided is a dead link.
But I think you need the SnapLayer extension from www.projectseven.com to anchor the layered images to the rest of the page.

Basically you've made the page so it only works when it's 1280 pixels wide, so it will be all screwy to most of the people that view your site.
I usually create pages that work OK in a mimum 800 pixels wide, there are several alternatives, fixed to the left, centred or stretch to fit, difficult to explain, but here's some example pages:
www.tdsf.co.uk/TestCentreFixed.htm
www.tdsf.co.uk/TestLeftFixed.htm
www.tdsf.co.uk/TestLeftStretch.htm
Right Click >> View Source, copy and past the HTML into a Dreamweaver file and you should be able to see what's going on.

Thanks.
The link is working...
The page particulary the background image is in the middle and is 1024x768. It is covered with a tiled background image of the same color, just to fill in the gaps.
Sorry I dont know html, Im a first start newbie and I want to have the links which are layers on the left locked to one spot and one spot only.
How do I do this the easy way? Isnt there like a follow and stick button somewhere?
Thanks

You are probably better off using tables as opposed to layers. Try using the 'Convert Layers to Tables' option and see what that does... back up your original first. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for the demo pages. See how you can minimize your IE window and everything shifts into place?
I think its because you have made those with HTML right?
I have a 1024x768 image in the middle as an image and the background is tiled with the same color so they will camoflauge.
Maximize your window and minimize your window. You will see that the links move because it is on top the image. Is there a way to make it "FOLLOW and stick" on the toolbar side?
Im screwed arent I?]
Thanks

Thanks Connman21. I did that and this is what it said:
"The file cannot be made with compatable with 3.0 browsers because it contains nested layers"
What do I do now?
