AOW 3 question

Hi,I've just purchased AOW 3. When I click on the link to activate the pop up an identical sized blank window opens up, immediately disappears and then the desired window comes up. How do I stop this identical blank page from opening? It looks like the pop window blinks.

I tried that but I still got what looks like a very fast blink of an empty window.
