Ok, here's my first post ( I think ).I have been trying all day to get my DWMX to work right and am getting nowhere. Actually it works fine but in the "answers" area the tutorial or "help" won't work. I got around that by just accessing the files thru the browser but here is the current problem:
I have a three frame frameset. Top, right and center or main/content. I saved them all but for some reason I cant get the set to "preview" in any browser. It just tells me "the url is not valid and cannot be loaded". What is a "valid" url? Or should I say what is a invalid url? Anyway.....HELP!!!
Thanks in advance
Patrick

Hi,
a valid url is a url to a file that exsists, invalid is to a file that does exist.
For your frame set to work you should have 4 files, e.g top.htm right.htm,main.htm and frameset.htm to view the page you should look at frameset.htm as this contains the frameset code to display the other 3 files.
Are you using a server? Is it config on your system?
But you should bascally be able to view the page by going to
c:\sitefolder\frameset.htm
thats if your site is stored in a folder caled sitefolder on the c drive
hope this makes sense
