I'm new to mx and I don't know wether or not to build my site in fl or dw. My question is can you embed a swf over a bg image. My swf has a tranparent bg and is on the top layer, and the bg image is on the bottom layer. But it's not working properly. Any help, thank you!!

unforchonatly flash is not transparont to the html page but you can lade .swf's on top of other swf's using flash. Lode Move function

You CAN make a flash movie transparent to the background.

Unfortunately it will only work in Internet Explorer 5 or higher i think.

you need to add something in your <object> tag in the html code for the flash movie.

Thanks, that doesn't work in netscape. Figured out another way.

Now didn't see you saying anything about netscape dood, or i wouldn't have bothered answering.

Hence i wouldn't have known the answer.
