I'm currently writing a site search function for a site I'm creating with ASP (VB)and have gotten as far as having the search work correctly, links of displayed files are correct, txt files are getting pulled into the correct asp pages for display.

What I would love a hand with is figuring out how I can get stop displaying file names in my results and display a meta description of the page. Is there a way to do this through VB?

Any help or nudge in a possible direction would be great.

are you using MS IIS and Index Service for your search?
