I am setting up links on my site to reveal hidden layers. This works fine on the first three links I set up. When you mouse over a link a hidden layer is made visible. Now I cannot get any more layers to be made visible on my page. If you leave them visible they show up but if they are hidden the behavior does not work. Any ideas as to why? Is there a limit to the number of these layers you can have on a page

This sounds very strange.
There is no limit to the number of layers on a page, not to the number that can be visible at any time.

Do you have an URL for me to look at the problem?

I found the answer. A layer cannot be named the same as a link on which it is acting. Thanks for the help.

More general: always keep names and ID's unique on a page, otherwise scripts won't know which object to handle.
