When I go to install the updater it get to "select destination directory" which is "/prog file/macromedia/Dreamweaver MX/" when I say install here. I get the error say "does not contain dreamweaver mx...but it does....any suggestion?

Same problem, I'm trying to update DWMX 6 English to 6.1 but it just can't be, I made a fresh windows install but I still have the same problem

This is typically caused by trying to apply the update to the pirate beta version of DMX 6 (Build 1714) that made the warez rounds before the final version.

Later builds will update correctly.
