Using tables instead of frames

Is there a behavior or extension that enables a table to execute frame-like behavior? For instance, if I clicked on a column or row within a table, and wanted it to link to another page? How would I do that?

Use an <IFrame> tag in the table cell to achieve this.

Obviously theres more to it than that, but thats where you wanna start
