Is it possible to have images load before text? Or table 1 before table 2? Or frame 1 before frame 2? Or Layer 1 before Layer 2?

If it is possible, please explain in detail how to do it.

Here's why I'm asking:

home.earthlink.net/~camaction/companyoverview.htm

The Text pops up before the graphic and the makes the page look like....
I don't want to make the text part of the graphic. I've tried that and I loose too much clairity in the text.

Any other idea would be more than welcome!

Thanks!

I am really not sure if this is going to work because i did it at work on a T1 line.
But I sliced up the image and then told the page to preload the images on start.
It can be veiwed here:

Get the files all zipped up:

I hope this helps out a little

Like Saleblitz said you need to preload your images.

Theres a few links in that post there about it. But personally looking at your page without needing to preload anything i'd get rid of the gradient as it's not that visible anyway and wouldn't really be missed.
Make an image 16x16 to represent you table corner curve and put this in a table cell on each corner of the table. Making the center cell and outside cells the blue colour your using.
This way the table will jump up around the same time as the text and then the corner images will load, but your visitors will see something is happening on the page.

Thanks for your help.

saleblitz: I didn't even think of slicing the image. You've been a great help!

UltraDev: Thanks for the advise. I'll be following it.

Thanks Again!
