I am using Advanced Open Window 3.0.8
Following your procedure, I tried to install an .avi movie in a pop up window and it does'nt work. I just obtain a 320x240 window with Windows Media buttons but not any movie is launched.
The movie is a .avi file which is read easily by Windows Media Microsoft.
The html code inserted in my page is the following

Naturally the javascript applet is well present in my page.

If I replace the preceeding sentence by the following, it works, unfortunately in not beautiful large windows media window
<p><a href="../100-0003_MVI.AVI">Essai Video2</a></p>
