Those menu options are just roll-over images. You can create a menu system like that one using the standard DW 'image swap' behaviors.

I understand the image swap part, I guess I was interested in the way the site navigation changed depending on where in the site you are. IE: when you are in the "About" section, it has several sub menus options, and then when you change to another section it displays other submenus. I was wondering if this was done by hand for each different page, or if maybe they had used a template file and some sort of coding to display the appropiate submenus. Does that make sense?
Also, what about the way the current page is still highlighted in the nav menu (with a colored square).
