New MYSQL user with probs

Alright I stepped from access databases to MYSQL. Problem is I don't know the connection strings to get to my databases on the mysqlserver. if it helps I'm doing asp and the mysql server is remote? Replies

you need a front-end tool to connect to the database...

another thing you can do is connect your Access program to the remote MySQL database:
www.mysql.com/portal/software/item-98.html
or use MyODBC:
www.mysql.com/downloads/api-myodbc.html
