I've been working in Flash and Director for the last two years but I now have a client that wants just a straight HTML site (i.e., no flash). What I'm looking for is a gallery/showcase of sites with straight HTML. I want to see what's possible out there without flash or extra plugins (animation, sound, navigation, etc). I know the macromedia site has a dreamweaver showcase, but most incorporate flash still. Any thoughts gurus? Looking for some inspiration from the pros before I put together a game plan. Thanks in advance

Can't help you with site suggestions <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle> but it is nice to hear about someone who wants a new site designed 'without' flash.
Can't stand the whole flash thing myself either. <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

You could do a decent site using DHTML and Javascript to get all your effects, if you know how to code it that is. There are tons of scripts available for you to look at.
Good luck <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
