Hello,

I am working on an artist site. I have small thumbnail images which I want to enlarge when user clicks on them via new browser window. I am using the on click open new browser window behavior in DW-MX. I set it to just the menu bar parameters and nothing else. It works great in IE but NN6-7 give me a top and botom margins. The jpgs have a black backgound— the margins are white, plus it throws of center off.
Anyone with thoughts on a fix?
Slightly OT is the AOL brower the same as NN7?

Thank you for your time.

Best Lia

This is my favorite :

"Just So Picture Window"

Notice to Mac users: NEW auto-detection of image dimensions. Notice to PC users: fixed a bug in ver 3.0.2 that, incorrectly, prevented auto-detection if Fireworks not present.

This behavior is a screen-resolution detector &amp popup image window caller all-in-one. It opens a popup window which can be either full-screen (no matter the screen resolution) or instead hug the borders of an image. The image itself is displayed full-size or sized downwards if needed to fit on lower resolution monitors. So the full image is always displayed no matter the monitor resolution, with aspect ratio maintained. Clicking anywhere closes the popup.

Version 3.0.2:
+ Adds option of saving settings as defaults (in DW4),
+ The Mac version now a) allows for auto-detection of image dimensions, albeit utilizing a slow method which employs and requires Fireworks version 3 or higher and b) now uses the DW4 colorpicker (this requires DW4 or higher) to choose the popup window's bgcolor.
+ Also fixed an error in root-relative sites.

Version 2.2.3:
+ Now accurately reflected in site map and cache.

Version 2.2.1:
+ Now works in root-relative sites.
+ Allows for unusual characters in path name
+ Better handling of spaces in imagenames.

Version 2.1.8 :
+ Windows version now determines image dimensions automatically.*
+ Windows version now has a colorpicker for bgcolor.*
* 'Windows version' refers to the webdesigner's OS; the pages produced are compatible with both Win and Mac browsers.
+ Added AOL browser support (by adding a blank html doc, vwd_justso.htm, to the website.)

Version 1.1.1:
+ Added option to create a margin of bgcolor around a hugged image.
+ Now fails gracefully in Opera.

Note:
Installation will add two dlls.
Be sure to copy our vwd_justso.htm to your webpage directory on the server
Do not mix old and new versions in the same document.

Select an object to apply the behavior to, and then locate and select JustSo Picture Window in the behavior palette.

Take a look at the Advanced Open Window extension here at DMXzone.

The window automatically takes on the size of the image and you can center the popup on the screen.
