I have a very large image that I don't want to have load all in one piece. What is the easiest way to break it up? I've never had to do this before, but my client has such a big image that I know it would take forever to download. I have viewed other pages that have large images and I noticed the image is separated into a bunch of smaller images. Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

Use the Razor tool in Adobe Photoshop - or a similiar tool in the other graphic manipulation apps.
