just to let everyone know before i set off im a beginner to asp but have some understanding in the functions used. In the last month or so ive been wanting to try a form and somehow connect it to a database useing dreamweaver mx i can connect a database to a page but when it comes to dysplaying the details on a web page i dont know how too, and i want a form so people can ad some information to the database please help its driving me mad <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

This is not really something that can be explained in a forum...

What I recommend you do is follow the tutorial that comes with MX as it will answer all the questions you have asked here and will give you a good foundation to start...
