Hi,

Here is the problem I am having! I open UD4 and the program initilizes ok, server behaviors load ok and the site map comes up correctly with the local files showing but the remote files are missing. If I click on any of the html files to edit it, the window just barely starts to appear and then UD4 shuts down immediately without any warning or error message.

If I refresh the remote files they upload from the server and appear correctly but once the program is restarted they no longer appear in the remote site window. I have rebooted windows numerous times and always have the same results (program closes when trying to open a file)

If the problem can only be fixed by reinstalling UD4. can I just load it on top without first un-installing the program and will the site definitions and database connections remain. What happens with all the server extensions installed and the scripts which are on many of my web pages.

I have a dual boot system win 98/2000 (P3 600 - 512 megs of ram) and the copy of UD4 operates fine on win 98 so there is no hardware issues. just in case I took off the graphic acceleration. Checked my box for viruses and it's clean. All other programs are working fine.

I need to get UD4 running again and help from someone who has had this problem or knows the proper process of reinstalling without losing anything would be very much appreciated.
