Hi,

Doing an update record with UD4 and Pure ASp upload. How do I set things up so that the file field is skipped if its empty. When setting up the update behaviour, I must set the file field to update the image column in the db - in case the reader does decide to update, right? How can I set it up so it doesn't update if empty when submitted?

This is done by default, Pure ASP Upload adjusts the Update Record behaviour so that it leaves the old data when no file is submitted

Got it, but can this be done on an insertion as well. That is, if the client has no image to insert, can UD skip the file field? Seems when I try this I get a message that a file is required in the image field.

There is an option 'Require Upload' in the behaviour, it is next to the alowed extensions.
