Hi,

Using IE6 and it won't let me view the source of a web page. It gives me the option but doesn't open the text file when I click it. Also, when I move over an image that I know there is an alt tag attached, it doesn't display it. Happens on all sites and works perfectly on other computers. Any ideas?? Tried an update from MS but didn't work.

Also, when I open a new window, the status bar disapears and I have to go to view > status bar to get it back. Head wrecking... anyone know what is wrong or is this just MS messing with my head??

Cheeurs,

Dave

Sounds like you need to reinstall IE, as that is not standard behavior...

IE has never given me any issues you mentioned.

I've truggled with this IE6 issue as well, but it can be solved by emptying the cache: remove all cached, offline data and all should be fine again.
