Hi all

does anyone know of any exam guides for the marcomedia mx developer exam (801) i am due to take this test (thanks boss) and having looked on the macromedia site at all the areas especially the sample questions it would appear that the test is quite straight forward (so the dummy questions would lead you to believe)

has anyone here taken this exam, if so , what was it like , how did you find it, are there any good resources about on the internet that may help me out.

many thanks in advance

Daniel.....

I took the exam and it humbled me, but I passed it (82%)

I would recommend getting a book on it.

www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0072223707/qid%3D1053001651/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/103-7164544-6470237

If you don't go the way of the book, as the old cliche goes, "Experience is the best teacher"

Which sample questions were you referring to?

In the book or the 10 sample questions that Macromedia provided?

yeah i had similar results from the ten questions, i glanced at them and answered them all pretty much straight away without thought, my point was tho .... are they an accurate representation of the test questions that you sit for the exam or were they just WAY to easy ... ???

what do you think vitoman

It's like this with just about any test you take.

You start going through the questions and you think, "Hey, this isn't so bad". As you push on, you find some questions that reach back into your brain a place a little nugget of doubt. Then the second guessing starts.

I would definitely study for the exam instead of judging by whether a trivial ten questions translates into passing a 65 question exam. (Hope that didn't come across as sarcasm or trying to scare you).

Hope this helps...

if you go to the macromedia site they have an area dedicated to training and certification,

the main runners of macromedia certification exams are VUE they have a web site linked from the macromedia page, for those that do not know the test system is the same for most exams these days and takes the format of a multiple choice test sat at a computer in one of the many many vue test centres,

the test are well known for posing questions with many correct answers but your job is to find the most correct !!!

good luck to anyone who takes this exam.
