Is there an extension out there similar to ASP upload that will allow me tro convert PDF's on the fly as they are uploaded to the server.

From MS Word to PDF would be good enough for a start.

Yeah,

Have a look at www.activepdf.com. They have a load of different solutions and its hard to find which one will actually suit you but if you trawl through the different options I'm sure you find what you're looking for.
