I created a disjointed rollover in fireworks and placed it in a Dreamweaver website. Later I decided that the text was too big. I selected my rollover in dreamweaver then clicked the edit in fireworks button and it opened in fireworks. I made the text smaller in the first frame and the 2nd which was the hover frame. It all looked fine in fireworks and so I clicked on the done button and I was back in dreamweaver with my fireworks file now having smaller text. When I tested it in the browser I found that the text in the 2nd frame (the hover state) was still the larger text. I know that I changed it but it does not seem to keep that change when I come back into dreamweaver. Any thoughts?

Preview the page and reload the page. If that doesn't work then clear the cache and history. Then try it again
