Marc,
I'm new to Dreamweaver so my answer might not be the best, but you may want to check a few things to see what your problem is:
1) Go to Common and select the code view. Toward the top of your HTML code, you will see numbers for the table width and height. Do these figures change when you add the text? If so you may see if fixing these numbers (be sure to click refresh when finished) will help. Don't do this without first saving, that way you can revert to your original if you've made a problem.
2) After you've entered the text, click on the Layout view. Sometimes this can automatically fix the problem by refreshing your table.
3) Try manually adjusting the bottom row with your mouse, using the layout view and deleting excess rows that appear, if there are any.
Hope that helps,
Sirenetta
