I'm looking for tips on how to get a site recognised (or futher up the results list) of search engines.

How can i do this??

www.selfpromotion.com is a tipware service which submits your site to the majors. It has loads of tips, articles etc and is up-to-date.

www.searchenginewatch.com is a good starting point. www.webmasterworld.com has some pretty up to date discussion too.

General tip: Get lots of people to link to you. Of course this requires good content to start with <img src=../images/dmxzone/forum/icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
