php - "add url variable" not in Bindings Pannel

On a php/mysql site, I want to use a variable sent by a form through the url. I go to the bindings pannel, select "url variable", enter the variable's name and click "ok". Variable doesn't show up on the Bindings pannel.Anyone got that problem before?
